Ella Gera is a leader advocating for women’s rights in Israel.  She is the former Executive Director of the Israel Women’s Network (IWN), the leading feminist organization in Israel advocating for women’s rights and leading social change for women, and currently serves as a Member of the Board of the IWN and the Chair of the Friends of the IWN. Gera is also a member of theWomen’s Budget Forum, a coalition of women’s and human rights groups working together to secure a fair share of the national budget in Israel for women.

An economist, an attorney, and a politician, she is also a businesswoman who has worked in industries as varied as fashion and real estate.

Gera
was the Deputy Mayor of Kfar Shmaryahu, and served as Chair of the Education Committee, Chair of the Environment Committee, Member of Planning Committee, and Member of Transport Committee.

Currently, Ms. Gera is an independent property developer for residential projects and is an independent Director Tadbik Ltd., Israel's leading provider of labeling and packaging solutions serving packaging requirements of manufacturers worldwide.
