America-Israel Chamber of Commerce Chicago (AICC) - The organization at 50!

AICC was founded in 1958 by visionary business leaders, led by Martin N. (Marty) Sandler, who brought the first international hotel (Sheraton) to Israel.  The founders were dedicated to developing mutually beneficial and profitable commercial relationships between Chicago and Israel.  He is also the co-founder of the Gastro-Intestinal Research Foundation (GIRF).

Marty is very active in Threshold and donated a house in Kankakee, Illinois, to the Threshold Foundation that is known as "The Sandler House", which takes care of people who are mentally ill.

Marty has a family of six children and many dear friends.
